Enterprising author Shelagh Watkins agreed to write for NarrativesOnline about her experiences in publishing. Shelagh had already been the conventional publishing route with her delightful book for children Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine but as you'll read in her article, a series of events led her to experiment with self-publishing, when she had completed her novel The Power of Persuasion.
Since self-publishing is a bit of a hot topic among writers at the moment, we thought, instead of the usual interview, we'd like Shelagh to give us the benefit of her experience in her own words. And she certainly does that in the article that appears inour Interview Gallery.
Incidentally, if you want to buy her book, click the image and it will take you directly to Amazon.
Happy reading,
